"It all started when my father was diagnosed with high cholesterol, as well as a heart valvular condition (mitral valve prolapse) that had to be corrected surgically.  The 'fear of the unknown' was a strikingly dominant feeling across the board - fear of what could happen before, during and after the surgery, what effects these new medications would have on their body and mind, what kind of diet and exercise would be best for them in order to improve their cholesterol scores, but at the same time would be safe before and after surgery, the list goes on and on.  When the only information that was openly presented to my dad after open heart surgery, was a pamphlet describing "do's and don'ts after your operation", something inside me ached.  When I saw pain and suffering, not only physically but emotionally and spiritually, that they went through, I knew there was something I had to do, not just for them but for everyone who has ever felt this way, or who anticipates these feelings.  And so, here I am.  For you. Dr Zarifis, ND’s practice has a focus on Executive Stress Health & Preventative Heart Health which ; such as those who live an exceptionally stressful life, whose diet and lifestyle are unfavourable, and those with a strong family history.
At this time, Dr Zarifis, ND is currently accepting new patients in the Naturopathic Executive Health Clinic in Oakville, Ontario as well as her Naturopathic General Practice in Oakville, Ontario. 

Dr Adrienne Zarifis, ND graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics, Honours., and then with distinction from the prestigious Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ONT, Canada.  Dr Zarifis is currently a licensed registered Naturopathic Doctor, in the Province of Ontario, and a member in good standing with The College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
